Daniel Bjerkmo, Co-Founder and Inventor of WEX²®

Daniel Bjerkmo

Co-Founder & Inventor

Daniel combines practical offshore experience with engineering expertise, connecting design and planning with execution. His career spans more than a decade across IKM-Group, Equinor and Aker BP, with a focus on production optimisation, technical integrity and offshore operations.

At Equinor, his leadership responsibilities covered project management, process engineering and offshore operations, including production shutdowns and process-performance improvements.

At IKM-Group, he worked as a Project Engineer and Offshore Supervisor on well completions, subsea operations and commissioning. This combination of fieldwork and engineering also supported improvements in well interventions and subsea operations.

As the inventor of WEX²®, Daniel brings this experience to the development and implementation of WellPower’s energy-recovery technology.
